About Anna
Hello! I’m Anna, a Senior Designer with 9+ years of design experience in branding, campaigns, print and web.
I’m all about coming up with good creative ideas that do something good in the world.
I’m currently working at Nice and Serious, a purpose driven creative studio in London.
As well as spending my day to day designing, I’m also passionate about teaching, mentoring, speaking at talks and events and running community projects.

I’ve spent some of my time over the last two years visiting Kingston University working with third year Graphic Design students specialising in purpose led design. I’ve given feedback in project crits and run tutorials, giving extra support to students. I’ve also delivered talks and Q&A’s. It’s been an energising experience to bounce off younger creatives and bring new fresh ideas back to my own practice.

In 2023, I was part of Creative Mentor Network’s programme, taking part in mentor training followed by four months of sessions with my mentee. As part of our sessions, I set my mentee creative briefs to develop her skills in idea generation and practical design skills. We also worked on how to write emails, prepare CVs and discussed what jobs would suit her ambitions.
In 2023, I also took part in Sisterhood Summer, a programme working with girls to develop their business ideas. I used my design skills to help the girls develop their businesses’s branding.

Talks
I love writing and delivering talks in an engaging way, sparking ideas and discussion.
I’ve recently spoken at Ladies Wine & Design London with Sadie Devane, talking about our latest creative project about periods in the workplace.
I’ve also ran a few talks at Kingston University, sharing my work, and talking about my experience of working in a purpose led agency.

Art Clubs
Since 2022, I’ve been hosting Art Clubs. Having lived in London for most of my adult life, I’ve found meeting new people isn’t always the easiest and wanted to find a creative way to bring people together.
I’ve since run five sessions, and would love to expand Art Clubs out to more communities. If you’re interested in running an Art Club, I’d love to hear from you.

It was my pleasure to work with Anna on the rebrand of one of the UK's oldest LGBTQIA+ charities, Switchboard. Through her design, she was able to both honour and celebrate the rich history of the organisation, as well as modernise and bring it into the present moment, as well as into the future.
She was able to take on board lots of competing feedback through stakeholder interviews with volunteers and staff team and ultimately create a brand that beautifully represents the vibrancy and diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Anna is an effective and enthusiastic communicator. She does a fantastic job helping clients understand the intention behind each design choice. You can tell that she is passionate about good design and committed to producing work that reflects that.
