Over the last few years, there has been a change of attitude in fundraising from millennials and Gen Z which has meant that some charities have seen a decline in donations. Subscription Boxes have been a successful way of gaining monthly donations and bringing attention to declining audiences.

We thought a great way of tapping into this could be creating a food subscription box that combines home cooks with the kitchen of refugees. For refugees, the food that they cook is one of their true connections to home, and this is an opportunity to bring the smells, tastes and cultures of refugees to peoples kitchens around the country.

We showed our idea to Refugee Action, who loved the idea and have now launched the boxes.
